Western Equipment hosts orientation for incoming ag tech students before they start their freshman year at either Garden State Community College or Navarro College. Ag techs are enrolled in the John Deere Ag Tech program, sponsored by Western Equipment, and will attend for two years achieving their associates degree and signing on to a guaranteed job placement upon graduation.

Western Equipment invites high school juniors and seniors from Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico to participate in their annual Ag Tech Invitational in January. Students will show off their mechanical prowess and compete to win prizes and scholarships to the John Deere Ag Tech Program sponsored by WE. Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to participate.
